Welcome to
Inspire Financial Services
Retirement planning for people who want clarity, not just a performance report.
We help retirees and people nearing retirement create a clear, coordinated plan for income, taxes, and investments so they can move forward with confidence, not guesswork.
Helping individuals and families navigate retirement with clarity, integrity, and thoughtful planning.
At Inspire Financial Services, we believe retirement planning is about more than managing investments.
Planning Comes First
Retirement Income
Tax Planning & Strategy
Investment Management
Estate Planning
For many people, their previous experience with a financial advisor focused almost entirely on performance reviews and market updates.
We take a broader, more thoughtful approach.
This may be a good fit if you:
Are you retired or within 5 years of retirement
Want professional guidance, not DIY investing
Have retirement and investment accounts at multiple companies and potentially have multiple advisors
Have anxiety about paying too much in taxes
Want to know you have enough money to live on in retirement
Want a clear plan on how to replace your paycheck with your savings without making mistakes that could cost you money
If this sounds familiar, you are not alone, and you do not need to have all the answers yet.
Investment management matters, but it should never stand alone.
Managing investments is an important part of what we do. But investments are not the plan, they are a tool.
Without a clear plan, investment decisions are often based on:
General risk tolerance questionnaires
Broad retirement age assumptions
Short-term market performance
That approach can miss the bigger picture.
We manage investments within the framework of a comprehensive plan, one that considers:
How and when income will be needed
Tax efficiency across different accounts
The role each dollar plays in your retirement
How market volatility impacts real-life decisions
When investments are aligned with a plan, they are managed with purpose, not guesswork.
How it starts
1
1. Financial Planning Conversation
We begin with a relaxed, no-pressure conversation to understand your situation, concerns, and goals. This is a mutual fit discussion, not a sales meeting.
2
2. Your Financial Plan
If we decide to work together, we start with a comprehensive financial plan that addresses income, taxes, investments, and long-term clarity.
3
3. Ongoing Guidance
As life changes and tax laws evolve, we adjust the plan and help you stay on track over time.
Every situation is different. Our process is designed to be thoughtful, flexible, and personal.
Meet Stephen Pascoe
Stephen Pascoe is the Founder and CEO of Inspire Financial Services, a fiduciary financial advisory firm specializing in retirement income planning for pre-retirees and retirees.
He works with individuals and couples approaching retirement who want clarity and confidence about their financial future. Stephen’s approach is planning-first, tax-aware, and relationship-driven. His goal is simple. Help clients create a reliable income plan for retirement so they can enjoy life without constantly worrying about their money.
With more than a decade of experience in financial services, Stephen helps clients navigate the transition from the working years into retirement. His planning process integrates retirement income strategies, tax efficiency, estate coordination, and risk management into a clear and personalized strategy designed to simplify complex decisions.
Stephen began hosting educational retirement workshops after seeing how confusing and sales-driven the financial industry can often feel. His seminars focus on practical strategies for generating reliable retirement income, reducing taxes, optimizing Social Security benefits, and protecting assets during periods of market volatility.
His passion for retirement planning is deeply personal. After losing his father at age 63, Stephen watched his mother face retirement with uncertainty and difficult financial decisions. That experience shaped his mission. To ensure no one enters retirement wondering if they are going to be okay.
Originally from a small town in Illinois along the Mississippi River, Stephen now lives in Somerville and works with clients both remotely and from his office in Arlington. Outside of work, he enjoys basketball, pickleball, scuba diving, and traveling with friends and family.
